Model 200 Boiler Sensor

The Model 200 Boiler Sensor is a temperature detector for monitoring the build-up of slag on the heat transfer surface within a fossil fuel fired boiler. The sensor is mounted on the face of the boiler tube and passes through the tube wall to provide electrical termination points. The boiler sensor array is connected to an electronics enclosure housing an industrial computer which processes the detector signals and displays the measured results to the operator. Outputs allow for the control of soot blowers to improve boiler efficiency, reduce auxiliary power consumption, reduce soot blower maintenance, and reduce boiler tube wall wear from unnecessary soot blows.
